Tour Highlights
Best Season to visit Mardi Himal Trek?
The best time to trek the Mardi Himal route in Nepal’s Annapurna region is autumn (September to November) or spring (March to May). These months have clear skies, steady weather, and great views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, and the Annapurna range.
Autumn is the best season for most people. The skies are blue, the temperatures are comfortable, and the trails stay dry. This makes the trek safe and the views very clear.
Spring is also a good time to go. Rhododendron forests bloom with bright colors, and the days are warm. You can still enjoy strong mountain views, although late May may bring clouds.
Winter (December to February) is peaceful and less crowded. The air is crisp, and the views are sharp. But it is very cold, and snow can cover the trails above 3,000 meters. Only prepared and experienced trekkers should go in winter.
The monsoon season (June to August) is not a good time. Heavy rain makes the trails slippery and raises the risk of landslides. Fog and clouds also block most views.
Overall, autumn and spring give the best mix of good weather, clear scenery, and safe trekking conditions.
